oh, this is fantastic!! I love the easy camaraderie in the dialogue. And the idea of Felix having someone helping him on NC! warms my heart.

Felix and Dee not being BFFs = :-(

Thanks! Billy and Felix really make such natural friends. I wonder if that's one of the reasons I can't ship Dee/Felix? Because apparently Dee didn't have strong enough feelings for Billy and Felix and Billy are cut from the same cloth? Hmmm. Interesting theory.

Felix and Dee are BFF :) They're just fighting.

Wheee! I finally finished part one. :) I do so love this fic and will get to the other parts eventually. I loved the scene with Cavil's get to know you game. And Zarek's response was excellent, had me cheering "Frak yeah!"

Two days later, Billy saw Laura Roslin by chance, in one of the packed dirt streets. She stopped in her tracks, then turned around and walked the other way.

He didn't call after her.

This broke my heart, mainly because it would be too true.

Thanks. I hated writing that, because yeah. The conversation between Tyrol and Gaeta is NOTHING compared to what Laura would have to say to Billy.
