Pics of my new tattoo!
Well I did it.. I just got back from getting my tattoo done! I was prepared for pain.. and psyched myself up... but honestly.. it was nothing.
It scratched a little bit when he did the outline.. and then got a little burny when he filled it in, but I was laughing the whole time... I could'nt believe it! I am definately going to be getting one on my lower back at some point (just gotta find the right design). I can see how tattoo's can be very addictive! :p
The guy who did mine.. Kyle LeBlanc from Skintastics.. has been tattooing professionally for 15 years... trained in it for longer. He's done tattoo design and tattoo's and make up for such movies as The Titantic, Natural Born Killers and From Dusk Till Dawn. He's worked with a lot of movie stars.
My tattoo is guarnteed for life.. so if it ever fades or needs to be touched up, he'll fix it for free.
It was such a sweet professional outfit.. everything was so clean and sterile. He was telling me how his company is the only tattoo place in the Maritimes (3 provinces in Canada) that is professionaly trained and that Canada has no licencing or rules/legislation surrounding tattooing like there is in the US.
I'm glad I went to him.. he was recommended to me by word of mouth.. and I'm definately going back.
So without further ado.. here are some photos.. these were taken with my camera phone.. I'll take a better pic with my digicam tomorrow after I take the bandage off in the morning.
The stencil (the mark underneath the main stencil is just the alphanumber from the stencil, that's not part of the tattoo)
