Help with Kid Lit list
I am sorry for being a bad LJ friend as of late. It's been SPRING for a week and I've spent it out running, playing and enjoying the sun despite the slushy 4 feet of snow that is still piled in our front and back yard. Also I'm crazy busy. We are gearing up for our first school visits next week.
I'm putting together a kid lit book list that promotes diversity, and/or world culture, and acceptance. This will be put on the back of a flier we are sending home with the kids.
Do you know of websites that would have quality recommendations? I have a list already but I'd like to expand it into age groups and include from k-6th grade. Most of what I have is picture books.
