The last book I read for fun was... Alistair MacLean’s The Satan Bug The thing I liked best about it was... Normally I hate the first-person narrative, but the author is a genius with it. My fave fictional book character is... Kriecher from the awesome book Kriecher - De Joco Suae Moechae 1 by Marc-Alastor E.-E. I think the author managed to put all the darkness of modern society in one believable character, who the reader not only can relate to because of sympathy, but because there probably is not one human being in our society, who won’t find something of oneself in this darkness. Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge say their theme tune is "Ebony and Ivory". What song makes you think of a Leverage character/pair of characters and why?Linkin Park with Bleed It Out When it plays on the radio I’ve to think of Eliot instantly because of this awesome video (I must have watched it like a million times) Quick - there's a pirate in the room you're in right now. What do you do?Welcome him with an Arrrrr! Fave ever Leverage quote? That is hard, so I

OMG I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't stand books written in first person! I've been trying to find some decent supernatural mysteries to read and they're all written in first person and UGH I just can't do it. I doesn't bother me so much if it's a really well-written book like To Kill a Mockingbird or The History of Love something, but character development is not necessarily the greatest gift of a lot of genre writers and so often I find I just can't stand being inside the head of the main character.
You know, we've had The Satan Bug sitting on the bookshelf forever, I should probably read it one of these days.
No, you are definitely not alone! I totally see your point! Well, I kinda would recommend reading it, but as it seems, my taste in books isn't very well. At least the books I like never get real good reviews on amazon ^^ Normally I don't give a shit, but not that you say I wasted your time after wards ;)
