(no subject)
so in case ur not exactly sure what that last post was about....i ended up going to see system of a down at the 9:30 club. as u can tell, it was fucking insane. i managed to get real close to the stage before the show the whole show i was only about 5 feet away from their bassist Shavo and their singer Serj kept coming real close to me too it was amazing. they played for only a little over an hour, but in that hour, they didnt say a single word about politics, random stories, or jus breaks to kill time, they didnt even ask how we were or anything they jus gave us their all and played as much stuff as they could and thats how shows should be. o yea and at the end of the show, the tossed their guitar picks out into the crowd, and when the lights came up and they left the stage, i dropped to the ground to look for picks before anyone else could realize that they might have just been on the floor. and sure enough, i found two!!! one of them is def. shavos the other is most likely darons but its a weird triangle pick ive never seen before, ill see if i can get a pic of them online sometime bc their never leaving my house!! ever!!! haha maybe ill frame them along witht he ticket stub.
in other news this week was tiring, especially from the concert, im working xtra shifts at the concession stand to pay back for the tickets (only $45 left to go...)
and then this conversation happened this night (i still feel pretty guilty, and im not sure if ill listen to the rest)

TricksOfFritz666: but i only listened to 2 of the songs on it

TricksOfFritz666: bc i feel like its gonna ruin the album for me
TricksOfFritz666: for once im actually feeling bad for downloading stuff haha
LB17Floridaboy: nah.... they get enough money.... maybe
TricksOfFritz666: well think of it this way....
TricksOfFritz666: your in a band, you are a success for a short matter of time, you take a break for a good 3 years, and in these 3 years you discover more about yourself as u spend more tiem away from the band and touring, and you find even more abilitly in music, and new and different ideas keep coming, and so then when ur band gets back together, your so excited to show them your new stuff, if its good to them, if its bad, its just something different

TricksOfFritz666: becasue the songs came out so well, u needed more than one album to fit it all, so then u suprise all the fans, telling them now ur band has two albums coming out soon, their excited almost as much as you are, you decide to make a short tour in the US, going to 10 of the most major cities in the us to get fans excited, and their thrilled and love your new single, ou couldnt be any more excited

TricksOfFritz666: the quality of the rippings kills the idea of the songs completely
TricksOfFritz666: and then the fans are dissapointed, and the work is nothing anymore
so i dont plan on listening to the rest of the album til 5-17
