Blogger sucks, but this ain't that much better
After using Blogger for about an hour, I dumped it and moved here. I know it's free, but so is this. Still, I can't wait to bring up my self-hosted blog again (it's down at the moment - long story), which uses Scott Watermasysk's .Text. I really like .Text because I can modify the source code to customize or enhance the functionality to my liking. I also have high hopes for Wallop, which I've been using as a beta tester for a couple of months. It's "blog design surface," which works equally well for text as well as pictures, is very unique and dynamic. There's more work to be done, such as enabling non-members to view Wallop blogs in full fidelity, but I believe that it will be very successful if/when Microsoft finally decides to release it to the general public. For now, I'll have to settle with LiveJournal.
