2009 count down @ Khao Yai
HAPPY NEW YEAR~2009~
This new year I went to Khao Yai with my family and relatives. I thought it was gonna be boring but it turned out to be quite a feast ^_^

We left Bangkok around 1 pm and met one of the most jammed traffics before arrived at our destination around 5 pm. Food was in order and after that we made a campfire. The sky was so clear and there were million stars shining above us. Then we did the countdown and ate cakes. ^_^

Today is Ohm's birthday. After I woke up I ate noodle (secret recipe) made by P'Panda's mom. It was delicious. Then all the kids went out to look around. First we went to the temple "Wat Tam Khao Wong" (วัดถ้ำเขาวง). Then the younger children wanted to ride a bike so we went to Juldis resort. Sadly, they don't allow pet inside the resort so we, the elders and moji the dog, were waiting outsite at the cafe'; sipping coffee and eating cakes. We had campfire again and late at night we set up an electric griller for BBQ XD

I woke up really late today, ate the noodle from yesterday, then took shower. We went to 2 "it" places of Khao Yai; Primo Posto & Granmonte. We had our another BBQ dinner by camp fire. However, I thought there were only too many meet balls and saucesages. There were also left over BBQ and yummy chicken. We played game by the fire and the loser had to drink one shot of whisky. I was about the hold my winner status but after I lost twice...the 2 shots rapidly increased to 4 shots hehehe.
Primo Posto del Khao Yai >> The houses were build in italian/spanish style. They were really pretty. The entry ticket costs 55Bht but you could use the ticket to buy anything inside like drink, ice cream, or souveniors. It was extremely crowded as expected but I still fell in love with its lovely atmosphere.
GranMonte vineyard >> This is the awarded wine producer of Thailand. Here you can taste the wines, shopping and visit vineyard and sunflower garden. I tasted about 2 white wines and 4 red wines...made me feel a bit tipsy hehehehe. My mom bought one of the white wine we like, 2 boxes of grapejuice and a lavender pillow mist for me.
note: Granmonte = big mountain = Khao Yai
Baan Mai Khao Yai (Khao Yai's tree house)>> After granmonte we came to this area where there were several wood houses that are restaurant and souvenior shops. I bought a knitted hat which I thought it looked like a frog XD.

Time to pack and go home. The traffic was worse than the day we came 0_o ....awww no more vacation and hi new semester! I'm about to granduate soon ^_^
