Luke 15:8-10
The Story of the Lost Coin
"Or imagine a woman who has ten coins and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and scour the house, looking in every nook and cranny until she finds it? And when she finds it you can be sure she'll call her friends and neighbors: "Celebrate with me! I found my lost coin!' Count on it--that's the kind of party God's angels throw every time one lost soul turns to God."

I was looking back through my written journal last night and today. I came across something I wrote and it went along with what I read in my Bible today.

The Value of a Life
There is nothing more valuable on this earth then a human being. It doesn't matter what their condition. One person is worth more than all the earthly treasures of the world combined. Every person we bring to Christ is a special treasure. If we see a person as a jewel or treasure we will look at them with different eyes. The bum on the street, once he is brought to Jesus who cleanses him with his blood is more valuable than any gold or silver. Jesus can use him to touch many lives. He will have a tender heart toward people (the heart of Christ). He will have an understanding heart. His testimony is extremely valuable.
Each person we effect for eternity is a jewel in our crown that we lay before Jesus. May we see people as treasures instead of looking at their outward appearance and judging them according to man's wisdom.
