General likes/dislikes

Likes: I adore competence, people loving what they do, friendships and strong relationships, teams built on mutual respect and people thrown together who have to work together. I adore humour, but appreciate it's bloody difficult to write, so don't worry too much about that! Have fun with it. I prefer porn as part of a plot if it's there at all-- write to your comfort level. Slash, lslash, het and gen are all welcome.
Dislikes: Please please please no character bashing, noncon, deathfic or bullying/humiliation. A happy ending please, even if the way there isn't easy. Also, please please please no second person tense.

Specific fandoms: fire and hemlock, brother dusty feet, the foundling and horrible histories

Fire and Hemlock: if you are comfortable with writing about music, please do. I play cello, and love those aspects of the book. If you're not so happy writing about the quartet, then anything with Polly and Tom will be adored-- happy, sad, anything. Tell me another story!

Brother Dusty Feet: I hold little hope of this getting written for, alas. But if you do, then slice of life fic, or fic set after the book, will be so welcome. So so welcome. Or even Hugh at college, once he gets to the dreaming spires. Jonathan was my first love, so anything about him would be clutched to my metaphorical bosom. Or printed out and clutched to the real one.

The Foundling: Gideon Being Military would be awesome, but something that shows the development of a polyamorous relationship between the three main characters would be fantastic. Introduce a fourth if you like! An open minded person of the femaile persuasion to lend a little respectability is always fun.

Horrible Histories: Anything. Bob Hale would be brilliant, but anything. Georgian wigs, Charles II, Stupid deaths, a shouty man, historical masterchef...have fun with this one. I'd rather not have RPF for this, but apart from that, anything!

YAAAAAY yuletide and MJ2013 IN ONE WEEKEND!
