Fine. Stop bugging me, I'm back!! :P

What have I been up to?

Well first I went to Ohio with my parents to go see family. It was nice to see family again, but at the same time also hard. Nothing is the same. It was Grandpa's 90th birthday too. We just stayed 3-4 days, and in the kickin' town of Newton Falls, there wasn't much to do. So I walked around their little farm and took lots of pretty pictures (the good ones are up on facebook).

After flying back in to Tampa, mom and I drove up to Gainesville to move me into my apartment, which is beautiful!!! I love it here, I love my roomates, and I love the squirrels that scamper all through our courtyard.

The following day I had rehearsal for flute choir from 9-6:30 for our upcoming performance at Pittsburgh for the NFA (National Flute Association) convention. Pittsburgh was great! Amazing weather (what are you crazy northerners complaining about, no sunshine!?). I got to see a lot of my flute "idols" perform and watch them give masterclass. It kinda gave me a little bit of hope for getting into a grad school. I had dinner with the flute professor from LSU and had a little chat with her about her flute studio. Let's see... I spent more than three times as much money on flute music than I did food (there's something wrong with that). Found out Roberto needs to get an overhaul, there's no little tweeking that can be done (that will only cost $1500, only...).

When I got back I had a day and a half to finish unpacking and rest before Staff started up. We had a work day this morning, cleaning up the Willoughby House. We're leaving in an hour to go to "Camp Asbury" up in J-ville for a retreat that will last a few days.

Uh..... classes start a week from today, wednesday. The following Thursday I get to be a gimp (again). I re-injured my knee and have to have another surgery. Hopefully this doctor will get it right.

So yeah, that's the abridged version of my life for the past two weeks.
