Mmm... pain.

So, you know, just to keep both of you in the loop, I started running and doing some minor working out last night. Push-ups, crunches, and (as soon as I buy and install it) pull-ups. To summarize, ow.

My legs, chest, stomach, and shoulders know they were worked out, but it doesn't hurt. The portion of my triceps directly above my elbow, on the other hand, feel like someone hit me with a baseball bat. Definitely lowering the reps on the push-ups for Wednesday. Probably I won't actually do more than a couple just to try to keep the muscles from tightening too much, but I doubt I'll actually do push-ups to work out. Probably not until next week for that one. Right now it hurts, but it's not an injury; I'd like to keep it from becoming one.

On the other hand, I slept better last night than I have in a while :P The main goal is to get into the habit of doing these runs and workouts so that when New Year rolls around, my resolution will be to keep on doing what I'm doing. That way, inertia will be on MY side for once.

That being said... other than Tiger Balm and ibuprofen, any hints on helping my arms along? ;)
