Tonight I'll stay awake long enough to stop breathing.
I've been having me some pretty fun times.
I saw Chelsea for the first time in forever (not LJ Chelsea..another Chelsea). I was a little disappointed, but I understand she's busy. She had a deadline the next day, so she said maybe 2 and a half words to me and I was left with her sister and some of their really weird but cool friends as a substitute. I don't know what I was expecting..but that wasn't quite it. But again, I understand the circumstances were not favorable to a rekindling of whatever is left of our friendship that, from what I remember, used to be pretty cool. Maybe we'll be able to hang out sometime soon and catch up. Oh, but there was punch. I love the punch. And all I could eat pizza.
I got desperately sexy new shoes and found out that I'm a preferred member at the drive-thru carwash, which entitles me to a whole dollar savings. I got my driver's license renewed today, and my picture is so entirely awesome. I'd scan it, but then you will steal my identity. The people at work gave me a birthday card. I felt special. And last Friday, Justin and Wade threw a surprise party for me and Erika. Wade got me the biggest bag of peanut m&m's ever. And there was cake. It was really nice of them.
And then I took Wade's m&m's and stuck them up the Casper's nose. They taste better that way.
Miss Ashalie and I are fixin to take a mini road trip out to Boulder City tomorrow. It's our way of pretending we're getting out of town. Technically, I guess we are getting out of town, so yeah. There will be pictures.
The idea of moving out of my parents' house is growing more appealing. I have to admit that I've been thinking about it for a while. It's not that I don't like living here. I'm just ready for a change of scenery. I want to try being on my own. And then when the guy living in our condo decided to move out at the end of this month and I learned that my couch was very much desired for, so much to the point of taking me along with it by a prospective roommate...well, I don't know. It sounds crazy. So crazy it could just work... I don't want to get ahead of myself though. Just thinking.
