Alphabet soup, purple rainbow

I don't like soup, never did in fact
but I always wanted to like it just so
I could make words with the letters.
Shit, monster, smelly, juice.
CHANGE!

I would love to see a purple rainbow
nothing but a streak of it, across the sky.
I would my sister outside, hold her to me
and embrace another of God's miracles.

For that brief moment, no drama in my life
no betrayal from friends, just a family member
that I love, and our purple rainbow.
And if God wanted to make it red, then I'm happy
with that too.
