Our new computer is already showing signs of sucking. When I tried to sign on to Yahoo, it wouldn't let me type my password. Curses. Curses!
Our Analysis class was interrupted today by an attempt to make a class pyramid, and later, a pirate attack. I printed photos of myself during third block. For lunch, I had yummy potato dumplings with ginger, though the company was not so hot. Then we started watching "Apocalypse Now." I think I need a little more time to judge.
Marion told us this really disturbing piece of news. Apparently, Congress passed a piece of legislation, House Bill 3077, that allows the government to set up a commission to investigate "anti-Isreal" sentiment on college campuses. Like, if professors criticize Isreal at a university, it could lose federal funding! So, write to someone about this. I was really upset when I heard. Some people in my class thought it was a good bill if it encouraged a balance of points of view, but that's not what it's trying to accomplish.
It was kind of ironic, because last night I was wondering where to get a "from the river to the sea" shirt. I guess none of this will effect me seeing as I plan to attend a private school. Still. Inform yourself.
