1) A man on a motorcycle, wearing a viking helmet with horns very reminiscent of a long-horn steer. The reach of the horns was wider than the man's shoulders. My Jamaican bus-stop buddy and I agreed that he would make an interesting (and gruesome) accident victim.
2) A pair of geese (I'm sure they're the same couple I saw yesterday, too) majestically waddling across the entire commuter parking lot, down to the end with the guard rail separating the lot from a bit of a ravine wild with overgrowth. (All other sides of the lot are grassy and unimpeded.
Goose # 1 spent at least fifteen minutes standing at the guard rail, with his body up against it, his neck all up tall, looking out with goosey longing at what lay beyond the rail.
Goose # 2 spent about five minutes waddling along the guard rail with her head down, until she found a spot she was able to duck under and get to the other side.
(Okay, I'm making a guess about the genders of the geese, but it was the slightly smaller goose who had a plan and got things done, so...)
