OOOOH MY!!!!!! yesterday was.....how do u say?....AWESOME! lol....im sooo proud of our el paso team! Ana and Analese placed 1st in finals for mock.....and oratory and cx placed 1st too! How aweosme no? aww im soo happy we brought home all three cups and we totally thought that was impossible...yaya! so in conclusion for this yrs nhi "great debate"

how could you even think bush was good on Homeland security? First bush did not want to create the department for homeland security, and he didnt want the 9/11 commission to be formed. Bush will try to gain votes by doing the things the 9/11 commission book recommended be done. But think about it.... its been 3 years and hes barely doing this. I would totally vote for kerry because i agree with him on every issue. He's much more experienced and actually served his country. This administration has contradicted almost everything they said theyd do for us in 2000.

but what has kerry said about foreign policy? all ive heard him say is that he wants to get the trrops outta iraq, whixch is aweosme, but the only thing is do u think hed stand up when we need it?

john kerry will first of all build back our alliances. Then he will invest in reducing our dependence on middle eastern oil. Also he wants to add 40,000 new soldiers to our military so we have it if we need it and make long overdue intelligence reforms.

the alliances thing is good...no argument there, but for the reducing "dependcy " on middle east for oil, he wantes to go into alaska which will only decrease our dependecy by 2 percent.....when i was talking to lace about taht she was saying tahta there was no real point in going to alaska or the middle east cuz in texas alone there is a shit load of oil, people just dont wanna use it...which i think is stupid yet smart at the same time...so onward..to the 40,000 new soilders, doesnt he wanna bring back the draft?? im really against the draft making someone ,who doesnt want to, fight for their ocuntry is just wrong i dont care wat neone says....dont get me wrong im not all for bush, but not all for kerry, right now im looking at both sides...but i think even to hold these elections at this pt. in time leaves us at more room for yet another terroist attack, and putting in another president would make even more room

ok, I'm not sure I get what point yoU are trying to make with the whole oil thing... and as for the draft thing I hadn't heard about that before. not to mention, yoU yoUrself said yoU didn't listen to Kerry's speech at the Democratic Convention, so please don't say that he hasn't said anything on forgein policy

teh oil thing is that it will only decrease our depency on eth middle east by 2 percent, so its stupid to go destroy wildlife and natural resources when we have enuf in texas let alone america

but why isn't it right to want Bush out of office? there is no other way we can vote. Nader doesn't really count if yoU think about it. Not to mention Clinton tried to enforce foreign policy, but problematicly, he ended up bombing an asprin factory. very sad. not saying he was perfect, but think about it, a why would we want a terrorist for a president. because that is what I see bush as. he is rather than hurting other countries (which I don't think is right, but I feel is better than harming yoUr own) he is attacking most of America other than the people in his cabinet and Bill Gates... now, how does harming yoUr own country constitue as a valid reason for re-election? I'm not sure, but I can't figure it out. I all in all, feel that Kerry will try to help middle class america while keeping it safe, instead of taking a months vacation before another national tragedy, putting the country in a HUGE deficit, and keep troops in country doing nothing but being bombed. that alls I gots to say

i didnt say that i said its not right that most ppl who are going for kerry only want kerry bc they hate bush

clinton's forign policy suxed thats why the terroist grew stronger and stronger...if he would have looked at other issues instead of soley on the economy then i dont think wed be here right now..on that once again the whole reason im not completely for kerry is that i DONT think hell fight when needed whereas I believe bush will

yeas i admit bbush has made alot of mistakes....but the hige deficit, he was also trying to make it safer for Americans to live....whether that worked im not exzactly sure, and u know i want the troops back , maybe theres some reason that they arent realeasing to the public taht they are still there.....the whole government thing is very secreattive so u never really know whats true or not....

we dont need to fight! How can you doubt kerrys ability to be a war monger? I trust him enough to go to war after diplomacy has ACTUALLY been exhausted. This is the 21st century, we have 21,100 years of war and death and we shouldve already learned that war is not the answer.
