You know the term "fuckin' a"? I used to think it was so goofy when I was younger. Why would you abbreviate the lesser of the two swear words and keep the really bad one intact? Because I think I thought that the a was for asshole. But I don't think it is. I've noticed people use it in a variety of contexts. For one, they use it to demonstrate agreement. So maybe the a stands for agreement. "Fuckin' agreement, man." But I've been using it lately out of annoyance. So maybe in that context, it stands for annoyance. "Fuckin' annoyance!" I don't really know. I think only punks say it anyway, so I should leave the philosophizing to them.
