I'm such a sucker for stories like these, where Uther realizes how close the boys are and secretly approves. This was really beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I really love Uther's character and he's such fun to write. He so often gets labeled as the bad guy, but he does have some redeeming qualities. XD

I'm a little confused. In the last paragraph, Uther refers to Merlin as a girl.
