Things that make me smile...
This is the reason I love my mother:
My mother is 52. She was pregnant with my brother at 17, and she had to find a way to support herself and her baby. She graduated high school early and attempted junior college, but never finished. She never really got a chance to learn how to use a computer. (She works with computers at work, but is absolutely clueless about how to use them for personal use.)
The Kraut reformatted his old laptop for her for Christmas.
I've been teaching her about the wonderful world of the internet and I swear it is the most adorable thing ever. Like, she giggled with glee when I showed her the smileys she could use in her e-mails.
Also, she just asked me how to spell "urine". No, I didn't ask why.
Now I'm going to eat some pizza and play The Sims 2.
I'm determined that tonight will be lovely.
