25 Random Things About Me
1. I'm allergic to guinea pigs. I didn't realize this until staying overnight at the in-laws who had said animal. After a few hours, I'd start the usual reactions. Same thing when I'm over at John's house for too long.
2. Loud music used to put me to sleep when I was tired. You'd think it would be the opposite, but no. I remember several times when I was a teenager when I'd fall asleep in front of my speakers in my room with the music blaring. My mom would have to come wake me up so I could turn it down.
3. I juggle hobbies. I have several at any one time. Right now they are: photography, flag football, Magic: The Gathering, playing Xbox. Others have been known to include: MUSHing, making chainmail, costuming, reading, gardening, and running.
4. I don't like to talk about money. Especially with people that I know don't have enough of it. It just seems rude. Especially when I feel like I've got it pretty good. We live well within our means while enjoying ourselves. Apparently we're at the point in our lives that we've got the finance thing sorted out and don't have much debt at all.
5. I love, love, love photography. I enjoy shooting all sorts of subjects. People, buildings, objects, macro, events, candids. I wish someone would pay me to do a hobby I love.
6. I don't drink coffee or beer. Never developed a taste for either.
7. I thrive off the feedback of others.
8. I've never broken a bone. Not that I haven't tried.
9. I have two half-sisters that I've never met.
10. Vienna sausages are the only food I can think of (that is sold in most grocery stores) that I won't eat.
11. I have no tattoos. Not that I wouldn't. I just haven't found something I want on me forever.
12. Chicago is my favorite big city.
13. I weighed 250 lbs. in the 8th grade and had size 13 shoes when I was 13.
14. I've always loved building things, especially when I was a kid. Favorite construction materials include: LEGOs, Lincoln Logs, clay, Capsela, model kits, popcicle sticks.
15. I can't juggle.
16. I want to eventually travel to Europe. I'd like to visit Italy and France for the architecture.
17. I went to the same high school as James "Buster" Douglas, the man who knocked out an undefeated Mike Tyson in 1990.
18. I once chewed a leaf of salvia divinorum. Didn't do anything for me.
19. I kept honeybees in the back yard while growing up. It was a family project.
20. I met Jewel Staite. She was so dreamy.
21. Never been arrested. No proof.
