OMG! An Actual Entry!
yes, I am back! Let's just say summer has been hectic and unpleasent sometimes, and leave it at that.
so Kiva writers, WHEN ARE MEGUMI & NAGO GOING TO STOP HATING EACH OTHER SO MUCH?! (I mean, please, we know they like each other); or at least Megumi does. If it's not acknowledged by the end of the series, there will be HELL TO PAY! (I mean, I'd like for them to be a canon couple, but I think that's asking too much).
That said, I do like the way Otoya & Yuri is going. Now that they admitted they love each other, they can be more cutesy, yet Yuri still provides the toughness, like when she drags Otoya away from Maya (and the unconcious Nago) by his ear.
and there's Tomica Hero Rescue Force 20: Oh, Juri, why can't you tell your childhood friend is a full-out jerk? Hikaru is waiting for you to realize he's there for you. I loved this episode, in case you couldn't tell. also, to my friends who think Hikaru is gay for Kyousuke, did you get the feeling that Hikaru was trying to act straight? Not that I think he's gay (okay, maybe a teeny bit), but all the subtext is undeniable. That said, Hikaru, I want to believe you are straight, but you've got to stop touching Kyousuke, and letting him steal your food, okay?
so overall, I guess I'm shipping Hikaru/Juri and OT4. I would ship Rei/Kyousuke, but I haven't seen them together for a while, so I can't really say.
also, USAGI WAS ON RESCUE FORCE! Or the girl who played her in the live-action Sailor Moon show. THAT CHARACTER (Akane?) WAS SO AWESOME :D

and some ranking of some japenese people that 98 % of my f-list has probably never heard of, but I want to do it.
The first group I'm going to talk about is the lead group of Hello!Project, an Japanese all-girls collection of musical groups that are known for sugary-sweet songs and ever changing members (at least in Morning Musume). This first group is Morning Musume, the lead group. Now, this first image is my very first impressions of the girls that are currently in Morning Musume:
and then this next one is after I listened to them and watched some of their music videos:
for refernece's sake, here's who's who:
-Sayumi is in the pink,
-Risa is in light green
-Linlin is in dark green
-Ai is in yellow
-Aika is in purple
-Junjun is in dark blue
-Eri is in orange
-Kusumi is in red
-Reina is in light blue
now, onto the rankings:
1. Sayumi: I have always loved Sayumi. She just has such a sweet and funny personality and she's gorgeous. Now, I freely admit that she doesn't have the best voice, but I'm willing to forgive that, because her voice is getting better.
2. Eri: Ah, Eri. like Sayumi, Eri is also quite gorgeous, especially when her hair is long and curly. Eri tends to usually be in the background for most songs, but she can sing.
3. Risa: Risa is one of the more experienced members of Morning Musume, having been there almost 7 years (same as Ai), and the second-oldest. Risa does have an absolutely incredible voice, but it is often shafted in favor of Ai, Reina & Koharu. That said, Risa also has the personality of an idol, always happy and cheerful about what she's doing. That said, I love her smile.
4. Aika: she used to be 5, but she's been increasing adorable all the time. Aika is one of the newbies (the members join in generations, and Aika, Junjun and Linlin all belong to the 8th generation, which is the most recent). Aika is such a cute little thing that is really developing beautifully. Her voice isn't half bad either.
5. Ai: now here's a jumper story, from 9th to 5th. I originally did not like Ai, because she is the leader (the 5th generation, the oldest in the group and the oldest of her and Risa), and because she was the leader, she got the most attention and got the most lines in most of the songs. And I felt that she really wasn't that talented, but hey, first impression. Ai has shown me that she can sing her heart out, she just falters when she's been singing too much without a break. That said, her personality could use some work.
6. Junjun: she droppped from 4th to 6th, due to Aika's & Ai's moving up, but Ai barely edges Junjun out of the 5th spot. It's important to mention here that unlike all the other members, Junjun & Linlin are Chinese, not Japanese, and let me say, it took Junjun a while to adapt to being an idol, but she's working on it.
7. Linlin: I am kind of iffy about this one. Sure, she has a contagious smile, and can sing, but again, she seemed to have trouble adapting to being an idol (but not as much as Junjun). that said, she improves with every new performance I see.
8. Kusumi: Kusumi has only moved up because the end spot shifted. I am very close to disliking her outrightly. She's prissy, a little annoying, and always seems above everyone else. She's also a soloist (in addition to Morning musume) and I know people who cannot listen to her solo stuff, because it makes their ears bleed. I have not experienced this yet, but I am wary. She just rubs me the wrong way.
9. Reina: I cannot stand this girl, she gets on my last nerves everytime I see her. She is thrust to the front of most of the songs, but sometimes I swear she can't sing to save her life. Her singing solo does hurt my ears, and whenever I see her, it always looks like her smile is fake, and that bugs me. I just cannot stand the girl.
I was going to do more tonight, but I need sleep.
FOR ALL THE MEGUMI/NAGO SHIPPERS ON MY F-LIST: I am working on a Megumi/Nago story, but it is not written yet. let's just say it involves the beach, Nago's naked chest, someone drowning and mouth-to-mouth rescuitation. Sounds pretty predictable to those who know me, ne? I'm sure those aforely mentioned already know who's going to drown, and what will come from it. I will be away from my computer for most of tomorrow (Wednesday), so expect it Thursday or Friday (maybe tomorrow night if I'm up to it).
