Finally figured out how to get a icon. I felt a little bit like a monkey doing a math problem! When I figured it out I felt like doing a little dance!! Happy 4th of July!!

A lot of communities require that you be a certain age to join (most of the time 18). You can either set your profile to show your year of birth as well as the month and day or put a statement in your bio section stating you are over 18.
To do either one, hover over the profile option at the top of the page and select the last option (edit profile). In the very first section you'll see your birthdate and under it the options of who can see it and how much you want to show. Select either 'everybody' or 'registered users' so that the mods of the community will be able to see it. Then, in the next drop down menu select 'display month, day, and year.'
If you don't want to display the year you were born, then scroll down to the fourth section labeled 'bio.' You can say something like 'I am over 18 years old.'
Once you've made the change, scroll to the very bottom of the page and select 'save changes.'
And voila, instant age verification (or as much as you can give online).
I'm considering another Snarry. First though, I have to finish a few others I'm working on. I think I have all my Snarry posted here, but I do have a few other pairings on fanfiction.net. You can check out my profile here if you're interested.
