A friend asked me this, and these were the first things off the top of my head! So I thought it would be fun to post them and invite you all to do the same

1. I would make Jean Claude a legitimate villain. In the right hands, JC could be converted into a great villain since he already tends to have traits of an antagonist. He could be elevated by continuing to have him manipulate, pull strings, set stages and constantly have have him come out on top and push Anita to her moral event horizons. She could still be vaguely attracted to him, but the role of him being a love interest is completely wasted. Wouldn't it be interesting to see her fight a villain she couldn't kill but she still had to defeat him legally instead of shooting her way out.
2. Consequences need to happen. Anita should be allowed to make mistakes but deal with the bad things that happen to herself and more importantly the things that happen to other people. She's never really had a moral event horizon and never has she chosen poorly.
3. I honestly would like to see other vampire executioners or a gang of competent monsters hunters (aside from Edward) who come from other areas. People who deal with bigger cities and scarier monsters. St. Louis isn't even in the top 50 biggest cities in the USA right now. How would she handle bigger badasses than her? All we know is that she is the biggest badass in Missouri doesn't mean jack when people in New York do more damage. It should also note that I would not want them to be weaker than her.
4. I feel like her use of crime with the supernatural community is very limited. There are more crimes than murder and rape. Really stretch what is legal in the world. Like . . . what is a vampire is turning a bunch of people into vampires so they vote him in with political power? Like an entire town. There never seems to be much else going on in St. Louis but murder and rape.
5. I would like to see more government start stepping up and going on a federal level instead of just local. This much crime going on in St. Louis under such short amount of time. The police aren't handling it, there would be some major changes. Everything always gets effortlessly swept under the rug.
The reason I did this list is because I wholeheartedly agree with what the other lists had and I wanted to put something different that I think would help make the plot more interesting.
