(no subject)
long time, no live journal....
I haven't posted here much since college ended but I decided today to change that, otherwise (knowing my crappy memory) I won't remember anything about our first year in the Keys.
It's Labor Day and I don't have to go to work today, instead I will spend the day: biking, cleaning the house, grocery shopping then being lazy and watch a movie probably.
Yesterday was a beautiful day and since Clinton and I both had the day off we spend it on the boat and in the pool. Started out by going to snorkel a bit (ok ok, I just learned how to swim and the ocean scares me a bit so it's more like I have a life vest on and hold on to Clinton's back while I float around) At least I'm in the ocean and I get to see the pretty Angel Fish and Sergeant Majors!
After 'snorkeling' we went and picked up lunch at Island Grill, ate on the boat, then cruised over to the beach at the end of the road we used to live on. I drove for about 5 minutes, woo hoo love the power! Floated and drank some beer then it was off to home and the pool. Fun times.
Now my back is red, white and tan. But all in all a great Keys-ey day.
Now I am going to try to rack my crappy memory to write about everything else we've done this past year, including an awesome trip to Seattle and Vancouver. Thanks Mike & Jenn & Victor & Erin!
