(no subject)
Still getting back in the swing of being here on Lj. It's nice...Tumblr just isn't the same.
I'm back in Toronto after spending the holidays with the family which was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, I returned to find that the bedroom of my apartment had been broken into. Scary, but luckily it wasn't anything much worse than that. I had almost everything of value with my back in Saskatchewan so all that was missing were some headphones and an Ipod. The worst part is that it was most likely one of my roommates. T says he didn't see anything happen and S had been kicked out while I was away, for breaking his lease agreement. I assume it was him, but I might not ever actually find out what happened...which is a bit disturbing. The landlord has been absolutely no help, blaming me for not keeping my things safe, which is the most ridiculous thing, as they were in my locked bedroom, and I didn't think I lived with crazy people. After having to deal with everything else, he just made me so angry. So my week has been full of filing police reports in between my new classes this semester as well as calling my landlord to come fix my bedroom door, so I can actually feel safe in my place again. I will be glad when everything is back to normal in that regard.
Otherwise things here are pretty much the usual. Back in my last semester of school before I go out into the real world (for real this time, I swear.) I have been applying for jobs like a mad woman in the hope that I can get something in a place I want to live, doing something that I love. Its harder to find than I originally thought it would be.
And here is a picture of the Bilbo and Gandalf I got for Christmas (because they are adorable :3)
