About this freaky flagging...

::EDIT::
STOP! I had the *entry* labeled for "adult content." No idea how that got there. Thanks to imaria for the idea ( Read more... )

debunked, flagging system, unverified

Hm. What's the public entry's flag setting, when you go into edit entry? The journal isn't marked as adult concepts itself, but the entry seems to be. Either it's been flagged (goodness knows why), you set it yourself accidentally, or it's a bug.

+1 on this. I'm pretty darn sure that you have that entry set as "Adult Concepts". Edit it to see.

Even if it was flagged, there's no way for admins to set an entry (or a journal) as "adult concepts"--this setting is only available for people to set on themselves and their own entries.

Yeah, Adult Concepts is not an admin setting; it could only be set voluntarily. When in doubt please feel free to open a Support request. To date, Support has not eaten anyone, I assure you!

Thanks--I mostly didn't want to just wonder what was going on. This way works better. Instant answers.

Seconded; it has been stated multiple times that only the "Extreme Adult Content" flag was ever going to be set on a journal by Abuse, never thebasic "Adult Content" flag. I am leaning towards bug, but I will admit it is a poorly placed one.

God, I'm an idiot--or it's just too easy to set it to "adult content" by accident. I don't even remember seeing the option for a single post.

THANK YOU for saving me from a weekend of paranoia. It would have taken forever for support to get back to me!

Thank the posters who figured out the problem; I'm just trying to keep people from jumping to false conclusions.

No, you're the one with the answer. I feel like an idiot, but it's just the paranoia eating my brains.

Support requests are not the same as Abuse requests - they are typically answered anywhere from an hour to a day after they are filed :) Abuse requests which require investigation may take longer, but it's always better to have an answer than to guess!

Thank you for hanging around and answering all these questions! You're an angel. I hope you're taking some time off for Christmas, or that you already did for Hanukkah or you're just planning on some down time. *smile*

They wouldn't have taken forever, though someone would have had to doublecheck that the answer was right and that takes time. Here, I just threw out a reasonable guess and it turned out to be right. :D

(I used to be a Support admin. I swear we don't eat anyone.)

[Edited because of my crappy wording.]
