Hello everybody!

Just posting to keep everyone updated on any changes to the community, or any news on the front.

I should have expected sub-standard implementation.

Here's all you need to do:

While working as the community (drop down not in shot), set the settings as I noted in the shot.

OpenID works fine, with no need for screening/unscreening. Anon comments are made, but screened. OpenID comments are not screened unless you set it to "members only".

Typical half-ass integration, I should have suspected before I said "go get more mods". It's been working this way from the beginning, I'm just so used to the f-d up UI ... then again, I've been on LJ for a long time so I'm used to their UI crimes and hardly notice the abuse.

Unfortunately, you overestimate the system ;/ It appears "Screen comments from: Anonymous" also screens OpenID.

There is, under LJ's current code, no way to affect OpenID without also affect Anonymous comments and vice versa. It's a pain, but that's what we have to work with so far.

Works on my comms without screening issues. Oh well. G'luck.

BTW, you just changed this setting; I just got this error when posting and had to join:

Augh, too much tinkering, too easy to drop a setting ;/ Fixed now.

(I tested it, and it listed both OpenID and anonymous as screened with the settings you listed.)
