You need to be using Horizon or Vertigo for it to work - it won't do anything on the other schemes. But if you saw the Halloween theme originally, you're using one of those anyway.
thank you. i have vertigo, and just put in the vertigo 1 from here and your halloween header as well, and they work beautifully together.
is there a tutorial somewhere on how to make custom theme headers like you've done? i love the idea of being able to change with the seasons (an autumnal one now, something solsticey or yuley in december, snowflakes in january, etc). i love making graphics, but i'm pretty clueless about programming.

the css so far is over my head (3 x brain injury survivor. i can learn new stuff, but it can be overwelming.)... may i start by experimenting with the script for your halloween one and see if changing the images does what i want it to do?
