My laptop screen just died.
Again.
Second time in two years.
(Technically, the bulb just died, not the screen itself, but the design is such that it's easiest just to replace the entire screen, which is what we did last spring. So this screen only lasted six months or so.)
Time for a new laptop? Or just go desktop (attach separate monitor/keyboard/mouse) until I have a job that needs one, or I'm going overseas?

ETA Very weird to have to get used to the monitor again. The monitor and laptop screen are different shapes, so the aspect ratio is off on the laptop, but so normal after a while....
