Awwwwwwwwwww....... *sniff* *sniff* What a sad way to spend your life, not able to share something so special and so inherent in your being with the ones you love. :(

I loved your take on how the improper severing of the spouse bond could account for Lois just forgetting everything, and how her constant pull on him made him feel like he was going mad. What a mess.

And Clark and Jason..... *huge grin* ^_^ So glad they could share the parent/child bond like that, that it was so natural that they formed it so strongly without even meaning to. :p

Beautiful, beautiful piece. :D

Thank you for the feedback! "What a mess" is exactly what I was going for, and the realization that Jason takes after Clark this way...Clark's glad at first, but one day it's going to hit him that Jason's going to have the same problems that Clark has had. At least Jason will have someone who understands, just like with any other powers he develops.

Thanks for reading!

Let it be known that Kryptonian men beat human men in denseness every time. -- *giggle* His molecular density is higher...

whacked him over the head with a kryptonite frying pan. -- Do you read "Kal-El's Journal"?? lol.

He shrugs his little shoulders. “I kept trying to call Mommy today and she doesn’t hear me. Daddy doesn’t either.”

Kal-El takes a deep breath. “Like this?” he asks, and then taps Jason with a tendril of his soul.

Jason’s eyes go wide and before long they are tapping each other back and forth like a pair of little boys at play, laughing like crazy. Martha watches in polite confusion but doesn’t say anything.

Before he realizes what has happened, Kaljason and Jasonkal are as strong as steel.

*sniff* So great. And the ending with Martha is just perfect! *sniff*

Yes, I most definitely read "Kal-El's Journal" - what a hoot! The kryptonite frying pan definitely came from that.

And people are really liking the scenes with Jason and Martha at the end - the Martha one was more or less in the plan, but I wavered a lot with Jason before committing myself to it.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Sweet and adorable and I enjoyed the last scene between Clark and Martha, so well done and so worth the wait.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it (and it was "worth the wait")!

Thank you! In my head, it was serious and technical all the way through, but somehow those little offhand comments just kept popping up.

I'm glad that the concept came across clearly - I admit to being a little nervous about that. I don't have any plans quite yet for another SR fic, though someone asked for a sequel to this, which I'm entertaining at the moment but haven't committed myself to. (I'm still knee-deep in Smallville WIPs!)

Thanks for the feedback!

*flails*

Give me a few hours to re-read and actually make sense of the wonderfulness that is this fic and maybe I'll be able to point out which bits I liked best 'cause right now, I can isolate maybe a couple "a's" and "the's" that I didn't like. The rest is AWESOME.

*pumps arm in air at having caused *flail**

Are you sure there aren't a few commas and semi-colons that bothered you as well? :P Thank you so much!

Y'know what? Now that I look back, a half-dozen or so hypens really should've been double hypens (--). Tsk, tsk.

;) Juuuuuust kidding.

Honestly the fic? I can't pinpoint on thing that I like the bast. Maybe the part where Clarkjason and jasonclark talked to each other or when Martha finally felt Clarkmartha. But those are only more awesome by millimetre-wide notches than the rest.
