A30: Open Room

A lizard like humanoid lies in the corner, strangulation evident on its features. Next to him lies a flying octopus creature, its body torn apart.

I will move to the bodies, scanning the ceiling for anymore floctopuses. When I get to the bodies, I will carefully check them for hidden drats (dire rats). If everything looks okay, I will search the lizardman's body and poke through the dead floctopus for anything intersting.

"WHY are you poking at that thing in this STENCH? Can you people not SMELL this? I say we turn around and leave this area IMMEDIATELY! I'm sure there are other far less smelly and repugnant areas of this hellpit for us to explore instead!"

Talbot yanks a handkerchief out of a pocket and holds it against his nose, making an effort to breathe through it.

"Oh my gods, I can smell it through my EYES."

There doesn't seem to be much of interest in this room. Other than the smell, which is definately interesting.

"Hmph. Talbot, I once had an uncle who was hit on the nose so hard during a bar brawl, that he couldn't smell ever again. Just say the word, and I will be happy to try and end your suffering. We can even try it on your eyes, if you like."

Are there any exits from the room besides the one we came in?

Okay, so once we are all back in A30 (assuming everybody goes that way) or quite possibly the hall leading to A30, how long will it take us to recover from the nausea?

After a minute or two, everyone is feeling ok again, but the smell is definately still lingering.

[chromodynamics]

"Och, what a stench! I sure hope that isn't the way out, because I just can't imagine. A bit of cleaning would be nice, thanks Talbot."

In the meantime, I will explore the northern part of this room, as I don't think we every fully mapped it out.
