A42: Kobold Living Area

A number of orc and kobold bodies lie in this room along with a couple of the flying octopus creatures. Stools, reed mats, and blankets are strewn over the place along with what were probably the personal possessions of the kobolds that made this their home.

Surprise Round

Jug'Jug pulls open the door, and it appears that the rats have scattered across the room and are caught off guard.

Everyone roll initiative, and declare one action (move OR attack OR spell) this round.

Lugh will have already taken up a position outside the door, and will wait this round for Jug'Jug to taunt the rats out into the hall.

Likewise Cora will position herself in the hallway to fire her crossbow (hopefully without hitting Jug'Jug) in the next round should Jug'Jug's taunting fail this round.

Potential Action 1
While Swindler was reading "When Druids Collide" and Jug'Jug made it clear she was going to open the door, Swindler readied his crossbow and sets up for a shot. Thus when the door opened, Swindler would fire if he has a shot. If Jug'Jug is in the way, he will delay action and fire if Jug'Jug clears.

Potential Action 2
If Swindler was too engrossed in his book, he will take this round to replace the short sword with the crossbow, letting the orc and dwarf (and cleric, and survivor, and robot monk...) take the lead and "Cheney" the rats from the hallway next round.

Yes, wordplay is still having computer problems, but hopefully they will be fixed soon. She is still playing, but during the day she is usually busy carting the kids around, running errands, etc., so it's easier for me to post for her.

Jug'Jug pushes the door open roughly from the side, and Swindler fires a shot into the room, but misses. I believe bless only applies to hit and not to damage.
