Bright Star and The Piano. Jane Campion films kill me with their beauty.

UGH BRIGHT STAR.

I haven't watched this movie in a very long time, because I am 'writing' my thesis on Keats, but I haven't registered to write it because I have anxiety about it and I don't know, I'm a weirdo, so now I feel guilty when I watch it.

But UGH. I love it. I love it because it shows that he was sometimes such a mean little jerk, so absorbed in his own HURT and UGH. And then what it does for her and UGH.

I blogged about it once: http://allthishappiness.blogspot.com/2011/04/spring-inspiration-bright-star.html

but now I'm going to come up with something different.

Picnic At Hanging Rock. What breezy female-centric modern film doesn't take from the costuming of this?

I'm all up on this. The Fall is just a masterpiece. I'll need to rewatch The Cell, it's been a while but I do love those visuals.

The Fall is one of the most beautiful movies that I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of movies.

AMEN.

My love for The Royal Tenenbaums knows no bounds. And The Life Aquatic!!!! I feel like that one is really underrated, or I am being biased here out of intense love of it haha.
