ugh if only I'd worked harder in uni this last semester! Then I could have posted the essay I wrote about homosocial relationships in GE which was just a giant cover up for my "PIP/HERBERT ARE THE OTP OF GE" argument. (I love Estella, but she's so obviously Pip's twin/Pip himself).

Gentlemen Bastard Sequence, (idk if anyone has read these but...) Nazca Barsavi? Calo and Galdo? Berangias family? LITERALLY ANY MINOR CHARACTER. THOUGHTS, ANYTHING, I'LL TAKE IT. EVEN..... DREAMCAST THEM. Make a girl happy.

I love those books! I'll see if I can dreamcast them (which will be hard because I hardly ever have anyone in mind when I'm reading books).

Try it! It's twice as hard because Locke is probably the only white Camorri in existence. BUT THAT'S WHY A MOVIE WOULD BE SO GREAT! So many people of color in lead roles!

His Dark Materials, Dr. Mary Malone! I'll take anything! Her transition from nun to atheist-super-scientist-woman-extraordinaire, any of her romances, her life with Will after the end of the series, anything!

:DDD! i haven't reread abhorsen in a long time and i'm on lirael in my most recent reread, but iirc the third book doesn't go much into the backgrounds of the bright shiners besides the fact that yrael = mogget and kibeth = the disreputable dog. I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALL ABOUT THE 2K+ YEARS HE SPENT UNDER THE ABHORSEN'S WATCHFUL EYE ;__; did he fall in love? were there abhorsens that he was tremendously devoted to? I WANT TO KNOW ALL THE THINGSSS.

A;SLDKFJALS;DFJK SHUT UP YOU ARE BRINGING ALL MY ABHORSEN-Y FEELS BACK. I want to do a reread so baaad, it's been years and the details are so vague in my mind now. I think Abhorsen is the only one I haven't actually reread... it's time I suppose. lol and Y E S I remember hitting that epiphany and being flabbergasted that EXCUSE ME YOU CAN'T JUST EXPECT US TO SWALLOW THAT WITHOUT AT LEAST A NOVEL'S WORTH OF EXPOSITION.

P.S. Can I add you? All of your requests here are making me grin from ear to ear, actually.

The Great Gatsby, Jordan Baker. Give me The Secret Lives of a Flapper.. I want her story, preferably minus Nick Carroway (though other characters are welcome to hang around.)
