Hey dudes,
Homework is stupid. Lab report, english reading, study for tests. Fri- Jazz Band Concert; Sat- ACT testing, Jazz band gig; Sun- 3 Concert Choir performances; Mon- Jazz band Concert; Tues- show choir and concert choir.
I am soooo glad that it is the last week. I enjoy all of those things that I'm involved in but I don't have time for the homework, so I end up stressed and lacking sleep.
I took the ACT this morning at Talledega- so did Leslie, Tyler, Zack, Chelsea, and Krystal (there were others there too but those are the first that came to mind.) Anyway, I think I did OK, but I don't know- Andrea said that when she got her scores back they were lower than she expected. I really hope I did good. Soapbox for Today: (drum roll please)
**Why does the future of your academic career depend on a stupid timed standerdized test? When you are stressed and shoved into a crowded room with a thick test booklet slapped down in front of you, do you really think that your true abilities and knowledge will be shown. No. Still- I must stay hopeful, because as little sense as it makes, that is the way it is right now and I need scholarships.**
We went to waffle house. Results- laughs, sugar and creamer fights, and, for some odd (and probably hormonal) reason, one stupid potato that left at eight thirty to beat the night's curfew. It's ok though- I'll wake up to a new day. One thing never changes- God's unfailing, unconditional love.
Peace out!
