BUILDING UP

The audience is begining to enter.

The structure is begining to take place.

Questions are being asked.

THE PROJECT WILL BEGIN IN 13 DAYS.

If you can spread the word to more it would be great.

13 Days......

So your making assumptions on my character purely through my use of language.
That's very interesting.

Academic - yes. Of, relating to, or characteristic of a school, especially one of higher learning.

Theatrical - I was using two of its various meaning
1)Marked by exaggerated self-display and unnatural behavior; affectedly dramatic.
2) Of, relating to, or suitable for dramatic performance or the theater.

It does apply to the whole of the internet. But lj/message boards are a permanent fixed interaction, unlike chat rooms, instant message, etc.

Perhaps the statement was obsious but I thought it was more accessible than discussing performative-self of postmodern identity structures.

If you relate those two comments - human interaction and the internet- then perhaps you see one of the areas I'm exploring.

Perhaps a comma or semi collon would have been better placed. Although to clarify a centence does not grammaticaaly need a verb.
A!part from that you seem to hgave picked apart my post to explain it all very well but been unable to see each points relationship to the other.

And clearly missed out on my final point: fun.

But your arguement and intrigue is exactly the type of interaction and stimuli I'm looking for within the project.

So this project is about performativity and pomo identity? The fragmentation of the self as witnessed through the medium of livejournal?

I think I see where this is going, on an academic level. But performance projects are nothing without structure, and performativity is empty without backbone.

Unless, perhaps, the inherent nature of identity is all in the surface and presentation to you, and the exact details of the project don't matter, since the fact that you've even made these announcements is the point. I'd be willing to entertain that idea. How postmodern of you.

(P.S. I don't intend to be snarky, but a quick run through the LiveJournal spell checker couldn't hurt.)

It did not come across as snarky at all.
It was articulate.

And you have indeed understood my concept in essence. Which is all that could be achieved from my vague ramblings.

The project has not begun. I am merely gathering an audience and setting up a forum. If I were to explain in full detail aims, outlines, direction and assumed outcome it would become futlie.

I hope to explain enough so as one feels involved but leave enough open to keep intrigue.

"Anticipation is half the pleasure."
