I did some work for my friend's construction company today, beginning a project for a finished basement. I spent most of the day drilling into concrete and setting steel studs; a fun little job, clean work, and a nice buck to go along with it. It took us 35 minutes to get to the jobsite at 7:30 this morning. It began to snow about mid-day. We left the jobsite at 5:00, and didn't get home 'til 6:30. I had a bite to eat and fell asleep about 8, only to wake back up an hour later, feeling disoriented but well-rested. Strange.
On the upside: 3 inches of snow, and a high temp of 12 today, which definitely tops the high of zero we've had for the past four days.
I'm reading Plato now - the dialogue of Ion, with Socrates offering one of his many ever-so-haughty criticisms of art. Plato can be a fucktard sometimes.
