New ideas and such
In my ongoing pursuit of a career in the real world, I have put the Internet and my cell phone to use from dawn 'til dusk trying to find and follow up on potential leads, and have come up with some interesting options. In addition to an interview today, one tomorrow, and one Friday, I have also discovered ways to (apparently) make money by writing. Imagine that! Little ol' me, making money doing what I actually want to do. Of course, I haven't nailed down any full-time positions or anything quite so easy, but I have found, for one, some online operations that actually pay you (or through whom payments funnel) for writing content.
Thanks to Google AdSense and this thing called WritingUp, I will (allegedly) have an opportunity to make money by blogging. Since I do that anyway, I might as well see the potential profit as an incentive to write material that is actually interesting. Don't worry, though, this LJ shall remain as mundane as ever; I'd hate to disappoint my fans.
