And it was fantastic. After time corrected for handicap ratings, we placed 10th out of 18 in our class, and somewhere in the middle of the fleet of 303 boats. We started at noon on Saturday, crossed the finish line at 7:00 AM Tuesday, spent the day on the island eating fudge, drinking beer, and walking around, then left Wednesday morning for a leisurely cruise down the Michigan shoreline on the way to return the boat to Chi-town. I'll put it in more detailed story-form later. I'll also post pictures.
Suffice to say, now, I've been a bit landsick since we docked yesterday. The world feels like it should be rocking, but it isn't, so it is; anyone who's been a sailor will understand.
Now that I've returned, I'm on the hardcore job hunt, working the network I have and trying to expand it. Any suggestions?
