It sucks to have my car. Better than having no car, I suppose, but only by a little.
Now the passenger side wheel is loose; that's why it's been making that funny noise. The lugnuts won't tighten. But they also won't loosen, which means they won't come off, which is a good thing when I'm driving, but a bad thing when I'm trying to take the tire off and see what the fuck is wrong.
It's been getting worse every day. Since I got it back from the mechanic's, that is. Bastards. And as usual with car problems, I can't prove anything, though I know they probably got to my starter through that wheel well, and put my lugnuts back on with an electric (or "thread-stripping") lug wrench.
So, I'm going out to fix it right now, so I can get to work safely in the morning. Fa la la la la, la la la la.
