Reading materials

I finished Robert Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress last week, thanks to a recommendation from
zachthepirateand a loan from
everyonesmom86.  Wonderful stuff.  It lays out something I don't think would ever have occurred to me - the fascist approach to libertarian revolution.  In short, the path to freedom may very well require Machiavellian manipulation of the general populace on the part of the revolutionaries.  Brilliant, sad, and fascinating.  And I want a computer like Mike.

I'm just finishing Rouse's translation of Plato's Symposium now.  It's not quite enough to turn me gay, but still a good read.  I may give a more detailed response later, depending on how philosophical I'm feeling.  For now, I'm off to Muay Thai.  Ta ta!
