Today started obscenely early, by which I mean 7:00. Funny how just a short nine months ago, sleeping in til 7 would have sounded a rare luxury…

Anyway, went into American Lit at 9 and heard about Walt Whitman (oy, don’t even get me started) and Emily Dickinson (a bit better…) Then I had two hours to kill until my Criminal Justice seminar at noon. Two hours is an awkward amount of time; not really enough to go home but a little too long to stick around the uni. Well, I opted for the latter and spent half of it working on my paper in the library (I’ve finished the analytical portion! YAY!) and the other half shopping in the student shop. I ended up with a quite nice university fleece and a cool (and cheap!) cap with a dragon on. :D That was pleasing.

Then I had my Criminal Justice seminar, to which four people, including myself, showed up. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I think I talked the most of anyone, which is odd considering that I’m a bit shy about speaking in public with my American accent. But it went well.

Then I came home and vegged all afternoon, which felt rather nice. Just had my dinner of spaghetti and peas and that was good. I think I’ll watch SG-1 tonight.

Tomorrow I shall work on my paper more (perhaps do larger chunks of it now the hard part is done…) and maybe start my other paper. Or veg more. Hmm.
