Apropos a recent message I received, there's one way people try to put me down that never fails to amuse me:
Person: Why do you write these delusional essays about a children's animation/review fanfic as if they were real works/write long and involved essays about shipping? It's a waste of time and you're a loser.
Me: Why, you seem to know the content of my journal better than I do! Thank you kindly for taking the time to read.
Seriously. If you want to make me feel shitty for spending my time on what I do, at least have the sense to pretend you haven't been spending your time the same way. There ain't no crazy like fandom crazy.
