I made things and stuff!

So I used to make shirts like all the time in high school. I'd make stencils and paint over them, use transfer paper, whatever. I hadn't done it in a really long time so I decided to again. I used bleach for the first time. This one is Star Trek themed and I'm making a Doctor Who one too but it's going to take me a bit longer to make a stencil out of the TARDIS.
LOOK! When I was in Sacramento we were at Target and this was like randomly sitting on top of a pile of junk for $2 so I was like "hell yeah do I want a Captain Kirk action figure!" and bought it. True story.
Then I did some fanart for a fic! I've never read femslash before because I'm just not into girls but I read paytofay's Staring At the Rude Girls and holy hell did I love it! The idea of Girl!Sulu and Girl!Chekov would not get out of my head so I drew a few things. Just sketches (coloring? clean lineart? pfftt who needs it!) but I like how they turned out, I think. Also heavily inspired by the ver, ver hot models Lily Cole & Sasha Pivovarova for Pavla and Tao Okamoto for Hikaru.

I got the idea to do pin-ups but inspired by the Doctor Who companions. Like Rose's will be a pin-up version of "The Idiot's Lantern" outfit. I may even actually make the outfits as a fashion project thing which I think could be a lot of fun (assuming of course I ever get the time to take on something like that). Plus, I would get to combine my love of fashion and sci-fi; nerd meets haute couture. Or something...

Aaaaand I was going to post a work in progress pic of my TARDIS door but I almost broke my computer in that attempt so just you know like picture a door...with panels...and it's blue. Like the TARDIS. OoOoOoOo amazing, right?
