Showering Thoughts
Not a lot of time today, so I figured that I'd make a couple of quick lists:
Some things I would have never have done if I hadn't met my husband:
--Gone to Poland
--Stayed in New York
--Went back to school to study media, sociology and philosophy
--Slept in the Vondel Park in Amsterdam
--Gotten a studio/work space outside the home
--Listen to and learn the history of Techno
--Gotten back into art
--Paint my nails fairly regularly
--Smiled everyday, at least once
Some things I have done for the first time since the first of this year:
--Helped organize and run a conference on "AIDS in Asia"
--Got married
--Visited Duke University, Cape Hattaras, and the Hirshhorn museum in Washington D.C.
--Buried my mother
--Did a research fellowship
--Attended the 5th Hope
--Read 8 Phillip K. Dick novels in a row
--Fell in love with Fassbinder
--Turned 30
