Is LiveJournal Dead?

So IS LiveJournal dead? Or was there some mass agreement I missed in June to sign off? Or has Facebook simply killed it? That last one see,s very All I know is that none of my LJ Friends - not one! - has made an entry since early July. After that is nothing but silence. This has the wierd effect that my Frimeds page is BLANK. I guess it show only posts within a certain time span and nothing is within that period now.

Sad. FB inspires such trite communications. For a while now, I've been guilty of writing to only myself here. Now it seems it's the only option available to me.
