Something's Moving Behind the Scenery
“In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.”

I haven’t quoted scripture here before, but after a conversation this passed weekend, I was researching the references to angels in the Bible and ran across this passage and immediately felt very compelled to post it. I don’t know why; the idea isn’t mine and know that no human, not even myself, instructed me to do this. I do suspect that it means someone out there needs to see these words and so I have been tasked to pass them on. So there, it is done.
But I do have something to add that comes from my heart and that is this: Please understand that, for about as long as I can remember, I have known that something greater than, and transcendent to, humankind moves through our world passing among us like the winds of our planet’s atmosphere. This is not an imagining, not a vain wishful thought, but a certainty like gravity or light. So I urge you, if you believe in something greater than yourself, however and whatever it is you believe, to hone that belief into its clearest form and hold it firm in your heart. Swords both real and verbal must be laid aside and hands opened and clasped in fraternity. A time of universal trial is at hand and we need to be strong.
And please know that somewhere, somehow, RIGHT AT THIS VERY MOMENT, someone loves you and is thinking of you. None of us is alone.
