Rain, Rain, and More Rain
Most of you know that I live on the edge of the desert. It's dry, very dry.
Well, not today! Since 8:00 am this morning, it has rained almost eight inches. That's almost half of our yearly rainfall. And, it's still raining! And is supposed to rain for another two days.
Now, truthfully, this is nothing like Louisiana got from Hannah, nor is it anything like what the Texas coast is likely to get from Ike. I'm the first to admit that. But enough, already!!!
We're on the list for evacuees from the coast, and what's it going to be like for them if they get here and it's pouring? That's too cruel, Mother Nature.
Make it stop!!!
