Windows own antivirus and such are actually REALLY GOOD and consistently top rated. No reason not to trust it.
However, no program is 100%

Doesn't seem to tell me how to find out what it *removed*, which is the info I'm looking for.

It creates a log file, mrt.log, in the windows/debug folder. It should, at any rate; that's what I read in
the overview
