(no subject)
I took my state board exam this morning. I think i passed it but there were definetely some questions i know i got wrong and some i completely guessed on. There was only 1 girl from my class there, but there were a couple from the part time class. It was cool to see them. Katie and I went to get coffee and talked for a while afterwards. She's still working at shapes and colours and i guess isn't that busy. Vanessa is still at that place i can never remember the name of on western ave but isn't that busy either. Marika on the other hand works at beaux visages (the place i used to work and hate) and has a facial every hour and is booked for 3 weeks. Oh well, it's not really the kind of environment i would like to be in. I'm a lot happier where i am now.
Speaking of which, Lords and Ladies is fucking excellent. I love it there. I am only working tuesdays and thursdays right now because of mobil but it's fine. Last thursday i actually had two real appointments. I didn't expect that i would have any, but halfway through the day tonya said something to me about an appointment at 6.
Anyway so yeah. Today was day #15 in a row of working. I actually feel like i had a day off today though, since i got up early for my test and came home and had time to myself. Not that i did anything.... I was actually supposed to see my dad at 3, but I passed out on the couch at 1:00 and didn't wake up until 4:50, leaving me 10 minutes to get ready for and to work. The registers decided not to work for like 3 hours, so we had to do everything on paper and then once they were working again run around like crazy to try to put everything back into the system. It was nuts. I didn't get home until 11:30.
I bought the tickets to see audioslave on the first! Adam is coming down from buffalo to go with me which is awesome. our seats are downstairs and i think we'll be relatively close to the stage. I'm so excited!!!! The only problem is that i'm gonna have to work 10-6 the next day...
Now i have 2 friends that are married. So strange to think that people my age are getting married and having kids already. Other lindsay you better not be having any kids anytime soon, you hear me?
So i don't think i have any more to say. At least not that i'm willing to write about in here.
